The Natural Regional Park of Luberon
The natural regional Park of Luberon is a natural park classified by Unesco which is massif of mountains and hills leading from East to West between Alpes of Haute Provence and Vaucluse, constitued by 3 mountains : Eastern Luberon, High Luberon and Small Luberon.
In this natural park, live a very diversified fauna and flora , a huge patrimonial architectural and rich landscape.
Come and visit the Luberon
Luberon is the name given to the massif of mountains not very high between Alpes from Haute Provence and Vaucluse for about 60 km long and 5 km wide. The top hill is Mourre Negre, at 1 125 m of altitude located in the High Luberon.
The Provence
Provence is a geographic name to design an old county ( enters in the French Royalty domain in 1481) and which is nowadays understood as the administrative country of Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur except the country of High Provence which is relevant from Dauphiné).
Provence is located at the South East of France, from left side of Rhône to right side of Var.
The Vaucluse
The Vaucluse is part of Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur terrritory, at the South East of France.
Its geographic limits are : at West by Gard, North West by Ardèche, North by Drôme, East by Alpes of Haute Provence, South by Var and Bouches du Rhône.
